People living within the confined and restricted walls of prison often embrace the 5Rhythms practice tentatively at first, but eventually “break out” of their inner cells and let loose, reporting an unexpected sense of feeling free again despite their situation, as well as increased camaraderie with others. Just like the rest of us, a great deal of incarceration is composed of the bars we have constructed ourselves, from the inside out, and the 5Rhythms is particularly adept at addressing those kinds of self-imposed barriers, no matter what our external circumstance.
